Exotic, but a whole lot closer to home Jun 17

I’ve been ordered to write this post.

Pennsylvania is a long way from Texas, so that explains the exotic part, and Pennsylvania, specifically the village of Georgetown, is just down the road a piece, so that explains the closer to home part.

There’s a place in Georgetown, right on 896, that cooks barbecued meat, take-out only. My wife says the stuff is fabulous, best she’s had since she lived in Texas. She didn’t save any for me, so it must be true. The guy at the restaurant says he gets a lot of comments like that.

It’s called The Plainsman. Go eat there. Tell them the old guy with the beautiful young wife sent you.
